A winter storm is causing hazardous road conditions around North Jersey this evening.
A crash around 7:30 p.m. friday on Interstate 80 eastbound near Exit 52 in Wayne has closed two of the four lanes, according to the New Jersey Department of transportation’s 511NJ.org.

On the Garden State Parkway northbound in Clifton near Exit 156, a crash and a vehicle off the highway were reported around 7:20 p.m., according to 511NJ.org. All lanes remain open.
In Morris County, a crash on Route 80 East in Roxbury near Exit 28 has closed the right lane and shoulder, leaving two lanes open around 7:40 p.m., according to the NJDOT.
“Snow and a wintry mix are forecast this afternoon through saturday, with heavier snow in North and Central Jersey.Snow may turn to sleet and rain causing arduous driving conditions.Avoid unneeded travel during the storm,” the NJDOT warned earlier on Friday.
