Tottenham Hotspur and Sports Illustrated Tickets Forge 12-Year Fan Experience Partnership
Tottenham Hotspur has announced a landmark 12-year partnership with Sports Illustrated Tickets (SIT), aiming to elevate the fan experience at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The collaboration, officially launched following a 2-2 draw against Manchester City on February 1, 2026, centers around immersive fan engagement and leverages the iconic Sports Illustrated brand.
A New Hub in the East Stand
The partnership has resulted in a significant refurbishment of the East Stand atrium at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, now prominently featuring Sports Illustrated branding and historical imagery. Interactive panel displays, adorned with historic front covers from Sports Illustrated alongside classic Tottenham photos and matchday program covers, are integrated throughout the stairways and hallways. This creates a dedicated space showcasing “Sports Illustrated Tickets’ Defining Moments.”
The Collective: A New Sponsorship Tier
Sports Illustrated Tickets is the inaugural member of “The Collective,” Tottenham’s newly established elite sponsorship tier. This structure divides stadium sponsorship around the four stands of the 68,400-capacity venue, allowing for focused brand integration. The partnership extends to both premium and general admission areas within the East Stand.
Enhanced Hospitality with Club SI and Cover Club
Premium hospitality spaces within the East Stand have been redesigned as part of the partnership, including the introduction of ‘Club SI’ – a 3,000-capacity area – and the ‘Cover Club’ bar. These spaces will incorporate interactive Sports Illustrated content and experiences, enhancing the overall hospitality offering for fans. Tottenham Hotspur announced the partnership in September 2025.
A Strategic Alignment
Ryan Norys, Tottenham’s Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the strategic importance of selecting SIT as the first partner in The Collective, highlighting the brand’s iconic status and suitability for enhancing the fan experience. The decision to partner with SIT was made after over a year of discussions, beginning with a meeting between Norys and SIT CEO David Lane before the 2025 Super Bowl. Sports Illustrated reports that the partnership is among the most significant milestones for Sports Illustrated Tickets to date.
Expanding the Sports Illustrated Brand
SIT aims to leverage the partnership to expand brand awareness in the European market. While the Sports Illustrated brand may be relatively new to UK consumers, both Lane and Norys believe that decades of brand equity built in the US can translate to a new audience. The focus is on authenticity, presenting Sports Illustrated as a sports-first brand and not solely a ticketing platform.
Beyond Ticketing: Fan Engagement and Content
The partnership is designed to drive fan engagement beyond ticket sales. The goal is to encourage fans to consume Sports Illustrated content – particularly through its soccer vertical, Sports Illustrated FC – and to consider SIT for future event ticket purchases. MSN reports that the partnership aims to immerse fans in the world of sports, blending the legacy of Sports Illustrated with the vibrant atmosphere of Tottenham Hotspur.
A Long-Term Commitment
With a 12-year term, the partnership is designed for evolution and continuous improvement. SIT plans to adapt its approach based on learnings and fan feedback, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience. Tottenham Hotspur has dedicated a team of at least three to four people to manage and activate the partnership, extending across communications, marketing, and digital teams.
Future Expansion of The Collective
With SIT as the inaugural member, three slots remain open in The Collective. Tottenham is currently in discussions with potential partners, including automobile brands, infrastructure development companies, and technology firms. The club maintains the flexibility to pursue naming rights for the stadium without compromising the value of The Collective.
