St. Joseph Parish Fair Returns to Long Beach, California

The annual St. Joseph Parish Fair, a beloved community event in Long Beach, California, is set to take place this year. The fair offers a blend of traditional festivities, local crafts, and family-friendly entertainment.

Event Details

The St. Joseph Parish Fair will be held from April 4–6, 2025. Attendees can expect a variety of attractions, including stalls featuring creative craftsmanship, hobbies, and typical products. A dedicated market area will showcase products from Campagna Amica, offering fresh, local produce. Live bands will perform Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

Family-Friendly Activities

The fair places a strong emphasis on family entertainment. A “Game Bus” will be available at the Largo Conti amphitheater from 3 PM to 7 PM, providing games, animations, and activities for children.

Cultural and Historical Attractions

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore local cultural and historical sites. The Civic Tower in Corso Matteotti will be open to the public, hosted by the Città Vecchia association. The church of Sant’Ugo will be accessible through Arkeo, offering guided visits.

Artistic and Cultural Events

The fair will host a photographic exhibition curated by Roberto Trisciani, founder of the Nachodokopele South Sudan association. The exhibition will feature unpublished shots by Marco Gualazzini and Aniello D’Ambrosio, documenting the daily life of the Toposa and Jie populations. A presentation of Lorenzo Sbarbati’s recent album and book, ‘Original revolution – Giving space to time,’ will take place at the La Perla theater, with admission by offer.
