Swords St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The Swords parade will take place on Tuesday, March 17th, starting at 11:00 AM. The route will begin at Colaiste Choilm, proceed along Dublin Road and Main Street, turn right at the Bridge Street Junction, continue along North Street, and finish at Swords Castle Town Park. Road closures will be in effect to facilitate the parade, and delays and diversions are expected.
Malahide St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Malahide’s parade is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th, commencing at 2:00 PM. Participants will gather at the Cricket Club Malahide and proceed over the railway bridge (R106) onto Main Street, continuing towards The Mall and Coast Road, and concluding at the Grand Hotel. Expect road closures and associated delays along the parade route according to Garda information. The parade is expected to have a similar crowd and energy to previous years as noted on Instagram and as reported by Fingal County Council on Facebook.
Raheny St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The Raheny parade is expected to begin at 1:00 PM and conclude by 2:30 PM on March 17th, 2026. Organizers anticipate approximately 1400 participants from 60 sports clubs, active age groups, and community organizations. Approximately 100 stewards from Raheny Shamrocks &. Raheny GAA will manage the event, with Gardaí positioned along the route and on approach roads.
Parking restrictions and road closures will be in place. Residents along the parade route have been informed, and vehicles will be removed on the day of the event. Parking will be available in St. Anne’s Park, All Saints Estate, and around Raheny Village. The taxi rank on Howth Road will be closed, but taxis can use the Windsor Motors carpark. Organizers have secured 150 barriers to control pedestrian and traffic flow. Section 21 of the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act 1994 will be in force, allowing Gardaí to regulate movement around the parade route.
