Staycity to Open First Irish Wilde Aparthotel in Dublin Docklands
Dublin’s north docklands is set to welcome Ireland’s first Wilde aparthotel, following an agreement between Staycity Group and Ronan Group Real Estate (RGRE). The 288-room property will be a key component of the 4.6-acre Waterfront South Central mixed-utilize development.
Waterfront South Central Development
Waterfront South Central, located in the Docklands Strategic Development Zone, will also house the new European headquarters of Citi, providing 459,000 sq ft of commercial space across 12 stories. The development will further include 550 residential units and additional commercial buildings. The site benefits from proximity to the Luas, DART, Dublin Bus routes, Dublin Bikes, and the Port Tunnel [Business Plus].
The Wilde Brand and 35-Year Lease
The aparthotel will operate under Staycity’s Wilde brand, known for its boutique design and apartment-style accommodations catering to both corporate and extended-stay guests. Staycity Group, headquartered in Dublin, is Europe’s largest aparthotel operator, managing 6,500 apartments across 20 cities [Irish Times]. Planning and Development Timeline
A planning application for the hotel is expected to be submitted to Dublin City Council shortly, with a decision anticipated in the second quarter of 2026 [Irish Times].
