Reality television personality Damian Zduńczyk, widely known as Stifler, has abandoned his brief attempt to rebrand as Damian Star, admitting in a social media video that he felt like an impostor under his birth-name moniker. The public reversal comes just months after the former Warsaw Shore cast member announced a permanent break from his notorious party-boy persona.
Stifler Reverses Rebrand After Failed Name Change
Zduńczyk published a video announcing that his rebranding project had failed and that he was returning to the Stifler moniker. He stated that he attempted to legally change his surname to Star at the civil registry office, but the application was rejected. “Stifler is back. Damian Star is dead. I’m going back to the pseudonym Stifler. As Damian Star, I didn’t feel like myself,” Zduńczyk said on the recording. “Fortunately, God watched over me and I got a reject. Because only as Stifler do I feel like I’m alive.”
The pivot backtracks an identity shift launched in mid-January 2026. At that time, Zduńczyk told his followers that abandoning the Stifler brand was a deliberate, soul-driven decision meant to signal the end of a specific era. He reiterated those sentiments during a Fame MMA promotional conference, insisting he felt an urgent internal need for personal transformation away from his reality television history.
