SUEZ Water Handbook Celebrates a Decade of Digital Expertise
SUEZ is commemorating the 10th anniversary of the SUEZ Water Handbook, a digital resource evolving from its predecessor, the Mémento Degrémont, first published in 1950. The handbook serves as a continuously updated technical and scientific platform for water treatment professionals, offering insights into processes and technologies.
A Legacy of Knowledge
Originally launched in 1950 as the Mémento Degrémont, the SUEZ Water Handbook transitioned to a digital format a decade ago. This evolution allows for continuous updates and the incorporation of modern interfaces and content, including videos, to illustrate complex processes. The platform currently comprises nearly 1,000 web pages, providing a comprehensive and operational resource for industry experts. SUEZ emphasizes that sharing knowledge is integral to delivering essential water and wastewater services.
Content and Updates
As of February 27, 2026, the SUEZ Water Handbook includes updated information on advanced anaerobic digestion of municipal sludge with integrated biological hydrolysis, cross-cutting issues related to micropollutants and PFAS and natural water treatment processes. SUEZ’s Degrémont® water handbook offers fundamental concepts and technologies for water treatment.
Applications and Audience
The SUEZ Water Handbook is designed for a wide range of professionals in the water treatment sector, including site managers, environmental managers, quality managers, and maintenance managers. It provides a structured and complete vision of water treatment, supporting informed decision-making in both drinking water and wastewater treatment.
