As the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H / 2026 approaches, Muslims in Sukabumi, West Java, are preparing for worship with the guidance of the imsakiyah schedule. The Significance of the Imsakiyah Schedule
For Muslims, the imsakiyah schedule is more than just a set of times; it’s a spiritual guide for worship throughout Ramadan. It aids in preparing for sahur, observing the fast, and performing prayers at their designated times. The schedule encourages Muslims to conclude sahur approximately ten minutes before dawn, mirroring the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The determination of the beginning of Ramadan 1447 H and the end of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr) will be based on the decision of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs following an isbat (confirmation) meeting.
