Sukabumi Student Dies After Alleged Abuse

Sukabumi, Indonesia – A 13-year-old student, identified as N.S., died on Thursday, February 19, 2026, after being treated for severe burns at RSUD Jampang Kulon Regional Hospital. The incident has sparked an investigation by the Sukabumi Police, who are examining allegations of abuse.

N.S., a first-year student at an Islamic boarding school in Sukabumi, had returned home for the holiday period in early February.
