SUNDAY IN MUSIC FOR THE MOLDOVAN COMMUNITY
PADUA – It will be an afternoon of music that will enliven the Arcella sports hall in Padua on Sunday 15 February. The most acclaimed singers of Moldova will be the protagonists of the concert organized by the Moldavian Christian Association of Padua “Nativity of the Most Holy Mary”. Between dance interludes, they will sing musical hits in different languages as evidence of a dynamic community open to intercultural dialogue.
The proceeds from the concert will be used for the construction of the new Orthodox church which will be built in this field in via Longhin to be the point of reference for the Moldavian community throughout Italy and beyond. In addition to the actual place of worship, the construction of a parish house, an auditorium, a basketball court and a five-a-side football pitch open to all believers is planned.
