Suner Festival 2026: A Musical Journey Through Emilia-Romagna
From March 4th to 28th, 2026, the Suner festival will once again bring live music to the Arci clubs throughout the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. This itinerant festival showcases a diverse range of musical talent, from established artists to emerging names, solidifying the region’s vibrant music scene.
What is Suner?
Suner is a project of Arci Emilia-Romagna APS and the Music Clubs Arci of the region, supported by the Regione Emilia-Romagna and Emilia-Romagna Music Commission. It aims to connect territories, clubs, and communities although promoting contemporary music and the cultural role of live music venues as active centers of social interaction [1].
Festival Highlights and Featured Artists
The 2026 edition of Suner features 24 concerts across nine provinces, extending from Piacenza to Rimini [4]. The festival’s program encompasses a wide variety of genres, including hip hop, songwriting, electronic music, and rock.
Notable performances include:
- Murubutu: Kicking off the festival on March 4th at Bainait in Montecchio Emilia (RE), Murubutu will present his ‘Letteraturap’ project, blending rap with literary classics [2].
- Gaia Banfi: Performing on March 6th at the Tank Laboratorio Urbano in Bologna and at the Circolo Arci Tre Rose in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, Gaia Banfi will preview songs from her recently released album, ‘La Maccaia’ [2].
- Gazebo Penguins: This group, known for their blend of new wave rock, will perform on March 6th at the Tunnel in Reggio Emilia and March 7th at the Mexican Independent in Misano Adriatico.
- Lauryyn: Performing on March 8th at the PWCC in Parma, Lauryyn reinterprets Afro-American soul and r’n’b with modern digital elements.
- Giorgio Canali: Canali will perform a solo show on March 14th at the Circolo Employees Comunali in Parma.
- Angela Baraldi: Performing on the same evening at Vibra in Modena.
- Godblesscomputers: Concluding the festival on March 28th at the Mattatoyo in Carpi, Godblesscomputers will perform their new album, ‘Dance Until Dawn’.

In 2024, Suner took place from October 16th to 26th, featuring artists such as His Clancyness, Dead Horses, and Triflusso [1]. The 2025 edition, held from March 1st to 29th, included 24 concerts in 24 Arci Music Clubs with 18 bands/artists [3].
