Suns’ Brooks Suspended: 1 Game Without Pay After Tech

NEW YORK – Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has been suspended for one game without pay,the NBA announced today. The suspension stems from Brooks accumulating his 16th technical foul of the 2025-26 NBA season.

According to NBA regulations, a player automatically receives a one-game suspension upon reaching 16 technical fouls during a regular season.Further technical fouls trigger additional suspensions; for every two subsequent technical fouls, another game is added to the suspension length.

The technical foul that led to the suspension was assessed to Brooks with 6:37 remaining in the second quarter of the Suns’ 136-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 11th at the Mortgage Matchup Center.

Brooks will serve his one-game suspension on February 19th when the Phoenix Suns face the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center. This suspension impacts the Suns’ roster as they continue their season.
