Luma Shoulder Pals Illuminate Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando

Fans of the Super Mario Galaxy franchise can now bring a piece of the cosmos home – or rather, to their shoulder – with the arrival of interactive Luma pals at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort. These plush figures, inspired by the star-like creatures from the beloved video game, are available just in time for the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Cosmic Companions Come to Life

The Luma shoulder pals are designed to interact with each other, lighting up and making sounds when squeezed. Available in both blue and yellow, the figures attach to your shoulder via a magnetic plate tucked under your shirt. The blue Luma is depicted waving, while the yellow Luma is winking and waving with the opposite hand. Each Luma is priced at $40.

Part of a Larger Celebration

The introduction of the Luma shoulder pals is part of a larger celebration of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at Universal Studios. Guests can also enjoy a Yoshi meet and greet, Galaxy Popcorn, and the Rosalina Cupcake through April 13, 2026. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie premieres in theaters on April 1, 2026. Luma Origins

The Luma first appeared in the 2007 video game Super Mario Galaxy and are cared for by Princess Rosalina, who will be voiced by Brie Larson in the upcoming film.
