Universal Studios Hollywood Celebrates The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with Limited-Time Experiences

Universal Studios Hollywood is rolling out a series of special events and offerings to celebrate the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, beginning on MAR10 Day, March 10, 2026, and continuing daily through April 13, 2026.

CityWalk Transformations

Guests visiting Universal CityWalk Hollywood will find immersive experiences designed to transport them into the world of the film. Universal Cinema is fully themed with Super Mario Galaxy Movie marketing, and a new galactic photo opportunity has been installed outside the theater. A large star-shaped display allows visitors to take photos within or near it, featuring images of Mario, Luigi, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, and her Lumas against a galaxy backdrop. The exterior of the cinema is as well adorned with promotional posters and character images.

Moviegoers will be able to catch The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at Universal Cinema at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Cinemark at Universal CityWalk Orlando beginning April 1.

Super Nintendo World Enhancements

Inside Super Nintendo World, guests can enjoy a limited-time meet-and-greet with Yoshi. This marks the first time Yoshi will be available for meet-and-greets at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando as well.

Themed Food and Merchandise

A variety of themed food items will be available, including the Lemon-Blueberry Rosalina Cupcake – a blue velvet cupcake with blueberry cheesecake filling and lemon buttercream – and Galaxy Popcorn, a multicolored berry-flavored popcorn with edible glitter.

Exclusive merchandise inspired by the film will also be on offer, including interactive Luma Shoulder Pals in blue, and yellow. These shoulder accessories light up, make sounds, and communicate with each other when they are close together. The Luma Shoulder Pals are a park exclusive.

MAR10 Day Festivities

The MAR10 Day celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood runs daily through April 13, 2026, coinciding with the theatrical release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1.
