Popular singing duo Suzan and Freek have announced plans for a series of new concerts in 2027. The duo shared video footage on Instagram showing past performances in front of large crowds, with the text “Nieuwe shows 2027” appearing midway through the clip.
Concert Plans and Album Release Schedule
Further details regarding the 2027 tour dates will be revealed on Tuesday, November 3, when the duo shares their full concert plans. This announcement follows a busy period of live performances, including ten sold-out shows at the GelreDome in 2026. Additionally, their new album titled Painkiller is scheduled for release on November 13, accompanied by an intimate live performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam on the same day.
Health Journey and Family Milestones
The upcoming musical projects follow significant personal developments for the couple. In May 2025, Suzan and Freek announced that Freek had been diagnosed with metastasized lung cancer. Although the illness is incurable, Freek began life-prolonging medication that slows the disease, allowing the pair to resume their musical career just weeks after the initial diagnosis. In November 2025, they welcomed their son Sef. Freek stated in August that he felt physically and mentally well, and the duo continues to focus on performing live for their audiences.
