Hearts with Hands is building a new 24-site campground specifically for survivors of Tropical Storm Helene and the relief workers assisting in the recovery process.

Tropical storm Helene devastated Western North Carolina on September 27, 2024, causing widespread destruction to homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure. The storm tragically resulted in over 100 fatalities across the state and an estimated $60 billion in damages.
