Taipei – Authority Taiwan released crisis guidance in facing the threat of natural disasters and chinese invasion. The guidance was released as tensions with China rise.
Reported AFP Friday (21/11/2025), the guide was distributed to millions of homes throughout the region. The guide explains how to deal with crisis situations in the event of devastating airstrikes and natural disasters.
The Taipei government began slipping the 32-page orange booklet under house doors and into citizens’ mailboxes this week. This effort is aimed at increasing awareness about potential dangers that may occur.

Critics called the crisis guide a waste of taxpayer money.The guide, entitled ‘If a Crisis Occurs’, is part of efforts by the President of Taiwan, Lai Ching-te, to prepare Taiwan’s 23 million people for potential disasters or conflicts.
The guide provides advice on everything from how to prepare an ’emergency bag’ to what to do when the air raid sirens sound. The guide also contains how to provide first aid.
The guidance also warns of “opposed foreign forces” that could use disinformation to weaken their resolve to defend Taiwan if China attacks.
