Student Found Safe After Disappearance
“She was the one who organized everything and asked me to help her because she said I was the only one she trusted. She told me she was feeling down and wanted to isolate herself from the world for a while, a few more days and then she would return home.” This is what Dragos-Ioan Gheormescu, 30, told police last night during questioning before and after Tatiana Tramacere was found at his home in Nardò. The 27-year-old student hadn’t been heard from since October 24th.This account was also reportedly confirmed by Tatiana herself after she returned home last night, following a hospital check-up.
Tatiana Tramacere is alive and well. The case of the missing student from Nardò took a turn in the evening.
Dragos also reportedly admitted to trying to convince Tatiana to end the affair, given the public attention it was receiving. When police entered Dragos’ home, they didn’t immediately find Tatiana. She had hidden in the dark within a dormer window, accessible from the buildingS terrace.
Investigators with the Carabinieri have determined that Dragos and Tatiana were in a relationship. Security cameras captured them kissing in Raho Park – where Dragos works – and then entering the building where he lives. Tatiana wasn’t seen leaving after that.
The young man told police the girl was also struggling with health issues. “I didn’t do anything,” she reportedly said to police when they found her, expressing fear.
THE DISCOVERY – Police found her in a closet in the attic of a property owned by Dragos-Ioan Ghermescu, the friend who was the last person to see her on the day she disappeared.
The young man, questioned at the Lecce barracks, is currently under examination. Initially, the investigation focused on incitement to suicide, but if a kidnapping is confirmed, the charges could change.
