Tecno Camon 50 Launches in Indonesia with 6,500mAh Battery

Tecno officially introduced its newest smartphone, the Tecno Camon 50, to the Indonesian market on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The device, already available in global markets, features a slightly modified specification for Indonesian consumers, primarily in its battery capacity.

Enhanced Battery Capacity for Indonesia

Although the global version of the Camon 50 is equipped with a 6,150 mAh battery, the Indonesian variant boasts a larger 6,500 mAh capacity. This battery also supports 45W fast charging. Other specifications remain consistent with the global model and the phone supports 4G networks.

Design and Display

Tecno emphasizes a seamless design on the rear of the Camon 50, coupled with thinner screen bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A 32MP front-facing camera is housed in a punch-hole design.

Camera Capabilities

The Tecno Camon 50 is equipped with a dual rear camera system. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor (f/1.8) utilizing a Sony LYT700C sensor measuring 1/1.56 inches and includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2). Camera features include FlashSnap for quick capture, SuperNight for low-light photography, and Aqua Mode for underwater recording.

Performance and Software

The Camon 50 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate (6nm) chipset. It is available in configurations of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB of RAM and storage. The device runs on Android 16 with Tecno’s HiOS 16 interface, which the company claims is more modern, smoother, and equipped with various AI features.

Durability and Security

The Tecno Camon 50 offers IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications for water and dust resistance. It also includes an under-display fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.

The Tecno Camon 50 is available in three color options: Moonshadow Black, Malachite Green, and Nebula Titanium. Pricing is as follows:
