TECNO has just announced its plans for Mobile World Congress next month, and what we could see from the smartphone maker in Barcelona.
This year, TECNO’s theme at MWC is “Pioneering the Connection of Intelligence”. And the company will be highlighting how it plans to transform “creativity, productivity, and connectivity in users’ everyday life across three key dimensions: pioneering practical AI devices, connected AI ecosystem, and imaginative AI forms and designs.”
TECNO says that at the heart of its showcase this year will be the new CAMON 50 series. This is the latest iteration of TECNO’s very popular imaging flagship Android phone lineup. Last year, I got the chance to use the CAMON 40 Premier, which is priced under $600 USD equivalent and has some pretty incredible cameras. This year, TECNO says that it is “integrating advanced AI-powered imaging technologies,” which allows the CAMON 50 series to deliver a revolutionary snap experience, offering smart scene recognition and enhanced processing intelligence.
The CAMON 50 is going beyond just imaging, too, with practical AI features that will “enhance everything from content creation to daily task management, offering users a truly intelligent and comprehensive mobile experience.”
TECNO will also be showing off the new POVA 8 series. Which is “designed to balance performance and style, the latest POVA lineup combines a distinctive aesthetic, long-lasting battery endurance, and smooth all-around capability”.

TECNO’s AI-powered ecosystem will be on full display at Fira
In TECNO’s warm-up press release ahead of MWC, they are also talking about its AI-powered ecosystem. Hinting at some pretty significant upgrades to the ecosystem connectivity and management platform, OneLeap. Those who are heading to Barcelona for MWC will also be able to explore different AI experiences at the TECNO booth in Hall 7.
Finally, TECNO will also debut a “series of conceptual designs and technology prototypes for the first time.” This will give visitors a look at the future of imaging, interaction, and device form factors. MWC is a place where a lot of smartphone makers tend to show off concept devices – in fact, TECNO showed off a trifold device last year at the show.
