Ternate Ramadan ASN Working Hours 2024

TERNATE, OT – The Ternate City Government has issued a letter regarding adjustments to working hours for ASN (PNS and PPPK) throughout the month of Ramadan 1447 H.

The letter with number: 000.8/2/2026 dated February 13 2026, was signed electronically by the Regional Secretary of Ternate City, Dr Rizal Marsaoly

The letter was addressed to Assistant Regional Secretaries, Mayor’s Expert Staff, Regional Apparatus Leaders, Subdistrict Heads and Village Heads throughout Ternate City.

Based on Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2023 concerning Working Days and Working Hours of Government Agencies and State Civil Service Employees, to improve the quality of fasting during the month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, especially for State Civil Service Employees (PNS, Full Time PPPK, Part Time PPPK) who are Muslim within the Ternate City Government, the following are hereby conveyed:

  1. Working hours during the month of Ramadan are 32.5 hours (thirty-two hours and thirty minutes) per week.
  2. Provisions for working hours during the month of Ramadhan are as follows:
  • Monday to Thursday: 08.00 WIT – 15.00 WIT – Rest Time: 12.30 WIT – 13.00 WIT
  • Friday: 08.00 WIT – 15.30 WIT – Break Time: 12.00 WIT – 13.00 WIT

Ternate City Regional Secretary, Dr Rizal Marsaoly, confirmed that he had signed a letter regarding adjustments to the working hours of ASN employees within the Ternate City Government during the fasting month.

Based on the letter issued by the Ternate City Government, said the Regional Secretary, working hours for Ternate City Government ASN employees are Monday-Thursday from 08:00 to 15:00 WIT with rest hours at 12:30 to 13:00 WIT.

Meanwhile, on Friday, working hours are from 08:00 to 15:30 WIT with break hours from 12:00 to 13:00 WIT.

After the month of Ramadan in 1447 Hijriah/2026 AD ended, the working hours schedule returned to normal.

The top ASN leader reminded that working hours, entry hours and rest hours in each OPD may vary.

This adapts to the main tasks and functions of each OPD, especially OPDs that provide direct services to the community.

“This Circular was issued to be known and brought to the attention of all levels of ASN employees including PNS and PPPK within the Ternate City Government with full responsibility,” emphasized the Regional Secretary.

The Regional Secretary, on behalf of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor as well as all levels of the Ternate City Government, also conveyed a happy Ramahan 1447 Hijriyah fast to all Muslims and Muslim women in Ternate City.
