According to Western Mass News via Far Out Magazine, The Big E Arena in West Springfield, Massachusetts, stated that the band determined “additional time was needed before returning to the stage” after the venue was originally selected to host the group’s first back-from-break concert on September 24, 2026.
Additional cancellations followed quickly for the rest of the week. The Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, called off the band’s September 25, 2026, performance due to what it described as “circumstances beyond the control” of the venue, an explanation echoed by the Alabama Theatre regarding the group’s September 27, 2026, show in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Alabama Theatre noted that no makeup date has been scheduled.
Tour Context and Prior Summer Postponements
These autumn cancellations follow a larger disruption in July 2026, when the Mike Love-fronted band postponed roughly six weeks of North American summer dates—affecting 29 shows in total—so that 85-year-old frontman Mike Love could take a short break to recharge. At the time of the summer announcement, Love assured fans via Instagram that tickets would be honored once the group returned to touring in late September.
