Ensign Group Expands Healthcare Portfolio with Five New Acquisitions

The Ensign Group, Inc. announced a meaningful expansion of it’s healthcare network on February 1, 2026, with the acquisition of five skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities located across Arizona, Texas, and Wisconsin. These strategic acquisitions underscore Ensign’s continued growth and commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services nationwide.

The newly acquired facilities include Agave Grove Post Acute, a 225-bed skilled nursing facility in Glendale, Arizona, operating under a long-term triple net lease agreement with a third-party landlord.In addition to Agave Grove, Ensign together acquired the real estate and management rights for four Texas and Wisconsin facilities: Wylie Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation (106 beds) in Wylie, Texas; the Chateau Waco (123 beds) in Waco, Texas; Sunset Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center (80 beds) in Littlefield, Texas; and Timber Ridge Health and Rehabilitation (48 beds) in Stevens point, Wisconsin. These properties were purchased from subsidiaries of Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, inc., a real estate company controlled by Ensign, with operations leased to affiliated Ensign operators under long-term agreements also effective February 1, 2026.

with these additions, Ensign’s total portfolio now encompasses 378 healthcare facilities, including 47 senior living communities, spanning 17 states. Ensign subsidiaries, including Standard Bearer, collectively own 160 of these properties.
