The picture of the MLS playoffs is already taking shape with its first conference finalist: Vancouver Whitecaps have secured thier spot in the west’s championship series after a thrilling victory on the road against LAFC.

The next opponent will emerge from the upcoming duel between Minnesota United and San Diego FC.The winner of that match will face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS Cup, competing against either Philadelphia Union, FC Cincinnati, Inter Miami, or NYCFC.
