The Sound Poets launch 2027 acoustic tour across Latvia
Melancholic pop-rock band The Sound Poets are taking their music closer to fans through an 11-city acoustic tour across Latvia in the spring of 2027, following the release of their fifth studio album, Every ship has its own path
(Every ship has its own path
), nra.lv reported. The tour opens on March 19 at the Ādaži Cultural Centre and concludes on April 22 at the VEF Culture Palace.
New arrangements and familiar hits
The upcoming concert series will feature songs from the new album alongside long-time audience favorites delivered in stripped-down arrangements where instruments travel between musicians, according to nra.lv. Both nra.lv and sejas.tvnet.lv noted that this intimate, quiet format has become a stable tradition for the group and is especially beloved by their listeners.
After our previous acoustic concert series, it felt as though we had truly rediscovered this subdued format for ourselves—how we can be on stage, perform our music, and address our listener,
frontman Jānis Aišpurs told nra.lv and sejas.tvnet.lv. That was confirmed by the many positive reviews from concertgoers. Even after the release of the new album, we received messages that people were waiting specifically for these acoustic concerts to experience this music.
Audience enthusiasm inspires 2027 acoustic tour schedule
While the band already intended to share their new songs in an unmediated format, audience enthusiasm provided additional inspiration for the schedule, Aišpurs told both outlets. Tickets for the 2027 acoustic tour are available across all Biļešu Paradīze ticket offices and online, sejas.tvnet.lv reported.
