The remastered edition introduces dedicated PlayStation 5 Pro support utilizing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution to deliver 60 frames per second with ray tracing enabled, alongside a performance mode reaching up to 90 frames per second with variable refresh rate support. On PC, the integration of Path Tracing joins enhanced foliage, reworked lighting, and improved textures for environments, NPCs, and monsters. Players on Nintendo Switch 2 receive a native version featuring motion controls for combat actions, gyro aiming, touch screen support for menus and Gwent, and mouse control options. Nintendo Switch 2 owners who hold the original version on Nintendo Switch can claim the upgrade at no additional cost. The game also launches on Battle.net and joins the Microsoft Store catalog as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

The updated release includes both acclaimed story expansions—Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine—as standard components for all players, including those who previously owned only the base game.
