Bologna Hosts ‘There is Only One Intelligence’ Event Exploring the Convergence of Human and Artificial Intelligence

Bologna, Italy, will host “There is Only One Intelligence” on March 19, 2026, at the PalaDozza, bringing together over 1,000 leaders and decision-makers to discuss the intersection of human and artificial intelligence. The event, organized by Dinova, a company of the Maggioli Group, aims to foster a new perspective on AI, moving away from the notion of it being separate from human experience and towards a unified understanding of intelligence.

A Shift in Perspective on Artificial Intelligence

The event comes at a time when artificial intelligence is often portrayed as a distinct force, and seeks to promote the idea that AI, data, cybersecurity, digital technologies, and cloud computing should not be treated as isolated domains. Instead, they should be viewed as strategic tools requiring vision, responsibility, and integration with human capabilities, processes, and organizational culture. As stated by Dinova CEO Cristiano Boscato, the event is “not just a business initiative, but a cultural stance.”

Key Speakers and Roundtable Discussions

The plenary session will be moderated by journalist and author Riccardo Luna, featuring Vito Mancuso, who will discuss ethics and responsibility in the age of AI, and basketball legend Marco Belinelli, who will offer insights into teamwork and decision-making as organizational metaphors. Vanessa Druskat and Massimiliano Ghini will explore emotional intelligence within organizations, whereas journalist Emilio Cozzi will discuss the interplay of space, relationships, and technology.

A business roundtable will feature prominent figures including Raffaele Gigantino (Google Cloud Italy), Alessandra Poggiani (Cineca), Federico Aguggini (Intesa Sanpaolo), Silvia De Dominicis (Cosmetica Italia), and Ernesto Belisario, a legal expert in new technology law.

Playgrounds: Exploring Practical AI Applications

The afternoon will be dedicated to “Playgrounds,” five vertical sessions focusing on practical applications of AI, data, cloud technology, cybersecurity, and Dinova’s AI-first platform, Interacta. These sessions will cover:

  • Intelligence that Amplifies: How AI is becoming a core decision-making tool within organizations.
  • Intelligence that Communicates: Utilizing digital technologies for market positioning and value creation.
  • Intelligence that Builds: Leveraging cloud infrastructure, integrated architectures, and digital identity.
  • Intelligence that Protects: Addressing security as a foundation for innovation and trust.
  • Intelligence that Governs: Focusing on the role of AI in public administration and digital transformation.

A Holistic Approach to Intelligence

“There is only one intelligence” emphasizes a holistic approach, aiming to guide participants towards a conscious adoption of both human and artificial intelligence, avoiding both inaction and haphazard implementation. The Maggioli Group views technological evolution as a means to enhance people, territories, and communities, stressing that even in a digital age, human intelligence remains paramount.

The event is supported by partners including Google Cloud, JumpCloud, Vectra, Carl Berger Levrault, Yext, Cloudflare, Google Maps Platform, Chrome Enterprise, Google Cloud Security, Festival Francescano, Ecosistema Formazione Italia (EFI), and others.
