A man in his 30s and his father in his 70s were subjected to violence by three unknown persons in their own home in Siggerud on Thursday evening, reports East police district.
– We received a report of a person out in Siggerud, who had been subjected to violence by three people in his residence, and the background is said to have been an incident in traffic on the E6 in Oslo (Skulleruddumpa), approximately half an hour earlier, operations manager Kjetil Elnan Ringseth tells VG.
The victim’s father was also subjected to violence in the incident which took place at 11.40pm on Wednesday evening.
– It was the son in his 30s who had been out driving, and the one who opened the door. Among other things, he is said to have been beaten with a bat. Eventually, the father is also said to have been subjected to violence, but he was only slightly injured, says Ringseth.
Both father and son were examined by an ambulance at the scene and taken to Ahus for further treatment and examinations.
The police state that they are probably not seriously injured.
The three suspects in the case are a woman and two men. They are said to have left the scene in a car before the police arrived, and no one has yet been arrested in the case.
– Do you know what the incident at E6 is all about?
– There has been a traffic situation, a near-collision, which has led to this. It was a woman who drove the car in the incident on the E6, so she must have contacted two others who were with her when they pulled up at the residence, says the operations manager.
– They probably searched for the registration number of the victim, because no one followed him.
The police have carried out investigations and opened a case in connection with the violent incident.
– There are many people who are angry in traffic, but it is not often that it goes that far, says Ringseth.
