Five-BN Studio released three new installments of its Legendary Tales hidden-object series for the PlayStation 5 within days of each other, offering free base downloads alongside optional in-game currency packs, 4p.de reported. The sudden drop follows the September 23 release of Legendary Tales 2: Cataclysm on the platform, expanding the studio’s esoterically themed puzzle library.

The developer rolled out parts three through five of the narrative puzzle sequence on three separate dates in October. Legendary Tales 3: Stories arrived on October 5, followed by Legendary Tales 4: Map of Hope on October 7, and Legendary Tales 5: Der Preis der Macht on October 8. Players can download each title at no cost through the PlayStation Store by selecting the button beneath the price display, mirroring the distribution model of the studio’s earlier titles such as Legendary Tales 1: Stolen Life.
In-Game Currency Pricing and Game Mechanics
While the core software requires no upfront purchase, the titles include optional microtransactions to acquire virtual gold coins. Prices for the currency packs begin at 2.99 euros and scale up to 14.99 euros for larger bundles. The gameplay retains the studio’s signature mechanics, combining picture puzzles and observational challenges with fantasy storylines involving witches, werewolves, and resurrection sarcophagi.
Narrative Focus Across the Three New Chapters
Each new PlayStation 5 installment centers on distinct fantasy scenarios and character arcs. Legendary Tales 3 splits its runtime across multiple smaller stories featuring a brave warrior, a Red Riding Hood-style character, and a female herbalist. Map of Hope follows a pair of siblings fleeing from witches, while Der Preis der Macht places players in a game world entirely dominated by witches.
