Operating Hours and Transportation Schedules
Operations for the holiday open at 11:00 a.m. with the start of the park’s main rides, according to Tibidabo schedules. Early risers can utilize parking and transit access prior to the park opening: the BSM Sant Genís-Vall d’Hebron parking lot opens at 9:30 a.m., followed by the summit parking area at 10:00 a.m. The Tibidabo Store ticket counters, the funicular lower station, and the BSM parking facilities begin operations at 10:00 a.m., while the Plaça Tibidabo ticket booths open at 10:30 a.m.
For visitors traveling up the mountain via public transit, the Cuca de Llum funicular runs regular service on September 11. According to transit timetables, the funicular begins operating at 10:25 a.m., providing frequent departures throughout the day to connect riders directly to the summit.
Panoramic Area and Attraction Lineup
The Panoramic Area operates from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering access to several classic and modern rides. According to park announcements, the initial lineup available from 11:00 a.m. onward includes the Giradabo Ferris wheel, the Talaia, the Carosello, the historic Avió plane, Miramiralls, the Montagna Russa, the Tibidabo Express, the Diavolo swing ride, and the Globus balloons.
Physics Week Activities and Educational Workshops
The September 11 and 12 dates mark the launch of Tibidabo’s Physics Week, featuring collaborative programming with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Activities begin at 11:00 a.m. with the distribution of educational passports to visitors. According to event organizers, free shows take place at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Additionally, specialized physics workshops run from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; these sessions are free of charge but remain exclusive to TibiClub members and are subject to remaining seating capacity.
