TikTok Gives Users Control Over AI Content on For You Page

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – TikTok is launching a new feature that lets users control how much AI-generated content they see on their For You page.

This is the company’s latest step too deal with realistic AI content that could mislead users.

The feature, called AI-generated content control, is in the Manage Topics menu within the app. Users can adjust settings to see more or less AI content,choosing categories like sports or cooking.

“Manage Topics already lets people adjust how often they see content about more than 10 categories, such as Dance, Sports, and Food & Drink,” TikTok explained in a blog post, as reported by TechCrunch on Wednesday (2025/11/19).

“Like these controls,AIGC settings aim to help people filter the variety of content in their feeds,rather than remove or replace content completely,” the company added.
