Togo Prepares for Fourth Demographic and Health Survey
Togo is gearing up for its fourth Demographic and Health Survey (DHS), with data collection planned for a four-month period this year. Results from the survey are anticipated in April 2027, according to a recent announcement from the Council of Ministers on March 11, 2026 Togo First.
Filling a Critical Data Gap
The upcoming survey, presented by Health Minister Jean-Marie Koffi Ewonoulé Tessi Ministère de la Santé, de l’Hygiène Publique et de la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle et des Assurances, aims to address a significant gap in large-scale health information within the country. The previous DHS was conducted in 2013-2014 Togo First.
