Phoenix police are investigating a shooting at a commercial strip on West Indian School Road that left one person dead and another injured. According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire near the 4300 block of West Indian School Road and discovered two adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The shooting occurred at a business complex located at 4333 W. Indian School Rd., according to police records. First responders arrived at the scene to find a man and a woman wounded. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel, while the woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as serious but non-life-threatening.
Detectives from the Phoenix Police Department’s homicide unit closed off portions of the roadway and surrounding parking lots to process evidence and interview potential witnesses. Investigators have not yet released the identities of the victims, pending notification of next of kin.
Ongoing Investigation and Public Appeal
Law enforcement authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting. Crime scene technicians recovered multiple shell casings from the area, which are currently being analyzed by the police department’s ballistics lab.
