The Toyota Veloz Hybrid, a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), recently completed a rigorous 7,000km endurance test across Indonesia, signaling its impending launch and potential for regional expansion. Endurance Test Details

From December 2, 2025, to January 18, 2026, a Toyota Veloz Hybrid traversed Indonesia over 47 days, covering 7,000km. The journey began at the Mandalika Circuit in Lombok and concluded in North Sumatra, passing through Bali and Jakarta. The drive involved rotating drivers to ensure continuous operation, and the MPV encountered diverse road conditions, including city streets and mountain passes Top Gear Philippines.

Hybrid Powertrain and Specifications

The Veloz Hybrid features a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a single electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. This powertrain, coupled with an E-CVT, delivers a combined power output of 109hp. It shares its engine with the Toyota Ativ hybrid sedan Top Gear Philippines.
