Colby College Track & Field Set to Compete at Elm City Classic

The Colby college Track & Field team is gearing up for the annual Elm City Classic, beginning Friday afternoon and continuing Saturday. This comes on the heels of a historic 2024 season for the Mules, marked by two NCAA Division III National Championship titles and a program-record-breaking number of school records.
Recent Successes & Coaching Staff
colby Track & Field experienced a landmark 2024, securing national championships in the women’s indoor 4x400m relay and thru Levi Biery’s victory in the outdoor 400m hurdles. A total of 11 athletes earned All-American honors across both the indoor and outdoor seasons.The team collectively established 22 new school records last season, demonstrating significant athletic growth and setting ambitious goals for the upcoming competitions. Jared Beers is leading the program in his 21st season, building on a strong cross country campaign. He is supported by Seth Hasty, who joined the coaching staff this fall.

The Elm City Classic will take place with events beginning at 4:00 PM on Friday and resuming at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
