‘Exchange Season 4’ Star Park Ji-hyun’s Move to Samseong-dong Fueled by Early NVIDIA Investment

Park Ji-hyun, a contestant on the TVING original show “Exchange Season 4,” has revealed that strategic stock investments, particularly an early investment in NVIDIA, have enabled her to move to the affluent Samseong-dong neighborhood in Gangnam, South Korea.

Financial Success and Relocation

During a recent appearance on the YouTube channel ‘Life84’ with Kian84, Park Ji-hyun discussed her upcoming relocation. “My two-year jeonse lease is ending, so I’m going to move to Samseong-dong,” she stated, adding that careful financial management and savings contributed to her ability to afford the move.

Early Investment in NVIDIA

When questioned about her investment strategy, Park Ji-hyun disclosed that she invested in U.S. Stocks, with a significant portion allocated to NVIDIA. “I actually invested in U.S. Stocks. And I got into NVIDIA early. I bought in during COVID, but my seed money wasn’t that big,” she explained. This early investment proved lucrative as NVIDIA’s stock price soared, particularly with the recent surge in demand related to artificial intelligence.

Luck and Guidance

Park Ji-hyun attributed her success to a combination of luck and advice from a knowledgeable friend. “I don’t know anything about stocks and while there weren’t many seeds, I got caught,” she said modestly. Kian84 jokingly suggested her move was “thanks to Jensen Huang,” the CEO of NVIDIA, to which Park Ji-hyun partially agreed, while also acknowledging the positive influence of her current home.

Expanding Opportunities

Following her appearance on “Exchange Season 4,” Park Ji-hyun has been receiving modeling offers and is pursuing these opportunities. The final episode of “Exchange Season 4” aired last month, where Park Ji-hyun chose to rekindle her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Jung Won-gyu.

Other Korean Celebrities and Stock Investments

Park Ji-hyun is not the only Korean celebrity to experience financial gains through stock investments. Actor Jeon Won-ju previously gained attention for his long-term investment in SK Hynix, purchasing shares in 2011 when the price was around 20,000 won. Currently, SK Hynix’s stock price has surpassed 1 million won. Jeon Won-ju emphasized the importance of thorough company research and a long-term investment horizon.
