Tree of Savior, the MMORPG developed by IMCGames (CEO Hak-kyu Kim) and published on Steam, is now releasing a new episode: “Revival of Zmei”
In this update, the ancient seal imprisoning the catastrophic three-headed dragon Zmei has been broken, unleashing a new threat upon the world. Saviors must venture to the Sealed Dragon’s Heights and confront Zmei in a fierce battle to prevent its complete resurrection.
This raid introduces a new Part Break system, adding a strategic layer to the encounter. By concentrating attacks on specific parts of Zmei—such as its wings, horns, or forelegs—players can weaken or disable certain boss abilities. Coordinated teamwork and focused targeting are essential to overcoming the dragon’s deadly mechanics.
Defeating the raid grants valuable rewards, including Zmei Boss Cards. When all three types of Zmei Cards are equipped, they activate powerful set bonuses that significantly enhance combat performance.
The update also adds Kneller, a new special class available to both Wizard and Cleric. Kneller wields the sound of the death knell and the power of the dead, showcasing a unique combat style that brands enemies with ‘Mourning’ to inflict fatal damage.
Its core gameplay revolves around stacking the Mourning debuff using the Knell skill, then unleashing heavy burst damage with Condemn. With its unique mechanics and high-impact finishers, the Kneller is expected to influence the current combat meta.
Additionally, a new social system called the Guild Wardrobe has been introduced. Guild members can work together to register costumes and complete collections. As the guild’s collection grows, all members receive a permanent “Dignity of Guild” buff that enhances overall guild strength.
Once a collection reaches its maximum level, the Costume Borrow feature becomes available, allowing guild members to freely use registered outfits. This system encourages cooperation and strengthens the sense of shared progression within the guild.
