Troy Women’s Golf Set to Compete at Betsy Rawls Invitational
TROY, Ala. – The Troy women’s golf team is set to resume competition this week at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, hosted by Texas at the University of Texas Golf Course in Austin, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday, March 16-17.

Trojans Coming Off Eighth-Place Finish
Troy finished eighth at the Chris Banister Golf Classic last week, showcasing a strong performance in the second round. Freshman Constanza Quiroga led the team at the Chris Banister Classic, finishing in 17th place at 10-over par.

Constanza Quiroga has been a standout performer for the Trojans this season, leading the team with three rounds under par and a 3.05 score versus par. She has contributed to the team score in 20 of 21 rounds.

Laura Fangmeyer leads the team among veteran players with a career stroke average of 75.47. Manya Saini has recorded a pair of top-36 finishes this spring, including leading Troy at the Babs Steffens Invitational in February. Victoria Stutts aims to improve her numbers, entering the event with a 76.89 stroke average.
Troy is scheduled to begin play on Monday in a shotgun start alongside Sam Houston, Lamar and Houston Christian, starting on No. 13.
