The admission process for Bachelor’s programs in Informatics, Architecture, and Spatial Planning at the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien) will run from April 1st to May 4th, 2026. Prospective students are advised to note the condensed timeframe for the application process this year.

Admission Requirements and Procedures

For the 2026 academic year, 670 places are available in the Bachelor’s programs within the field of Informatics. Admission is determined through a two-stage process: an online self-assessment and an aptitude test. This applies to all Informatics Bachelor’s programs, including Informatics, Technical Informatics, and Business Informatics. Registration in TISS is required between April 1st and May 4th, 2026, for both the Winter Semester 2026/27 and the Summer Semester 2027.
