airBaltic Prepares Evacuation Flights from UAE Amid Middle East Security Concerns
Riga, Latvia – March 4, 2026 – Latvian airline airBaltic is preparing to evacuate citizens and non-citizens from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East and resulting airspace closures. The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating the effort, prioritizing vulnerable individuals and families with children.
Flight Suspensions and Cancellations
airBaltic has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Dubai, effective until March 2, 2026, inclusive.
