The No. 1 ranked UConn women’s basketball team is holding its own against Providence in a big East contest on Wednesday.
Sarah Strong has been hot from behind the arc in the first half with five 3-pointers.
UConn starting point guard KK Arnold and forward Ayanna Patterson are not playing. Arnold has a nasal fracture and Patterson a concussion. Both injuries happened in practice Tuesday.
