Rainbow Warriors’ Rosenthal and Greenidge Earn Big West Volleyball Honors

HONOLULU – The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball team is celebrating a pair of Big West Conference weekly awards, recognizing the outstanding performances of setter Tread Rosenthal and libero Quintin Greenidge following a recent series split with Pepperdine University, announced on March 9 and 10, 2026.

Rosenthal and Greenidge Dominate Big West Awards

Tread Rosenthal was named Big West Setter of the Week for the sixth time this season and the 11th of his career. Quintin Greenidge received Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. This recognition brings UH Mānoa’s total Big West weekly award count to 16 for the 2026 season.

Individual Performances

Rosenthal achieved his first double-double of the season and the fourth of his career during the series against Pepperdine. He likewise recorded a season-high 56 assists, demonstrating his control of the Rainbow Warriors’ offense.

Greenidge anchored the defense with 22 total digs and a remarkable .979 reception percentage, consistently keeping rallies alive for Hawaiʻi.

OUTRIGGER Invitational on the Horizon

The third-ranked Rainbow Warriors (15–2) will now host the 30th OUTRIGGER Invitational, featuring top-ranked UCLA, No. 14 Lewis, and Mount Olive. The tournament will run from March 12–14, with matches scheduled at 4 p.m. And 7 p.m. Each day.
