Russia Reportedly prepares Large-Scale Strike Targeting Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure
Reports indicate that teh Russian Armed Forces are preparing a significant military operation focused on crippling Ukraine’s energy sector. The facts, initially circulated by the Telegram channel “Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring,” cites data from Ukrainian monitoring groups.
According to these forecasts, a large-scale attack could commence imminently, with preparations for a combined missile and air assault nearing completion. Sources suggest the potential deployment of a substantial arsenal, including:
* Up to 5 Tu-95MS/Tu-160 strategic missile carriers, capable of launching approximately 40 kh-101 cruise missiles.
* Up to 24 air-launched cruise missiles of the 9M727/Kh-69 type.
* Up to 16 sea-based cruise missiles, designated 3M14.
* Up to 8 hypersonic aeroballistic missiles,known as “Dagger” (Kinzhal).
The anticipated targets are primarily energy infrastructure facilities located across several Ukrainian regions, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Khmelnitsky, Volyn, and Lviv.
