Ulsan Wales Futures League Baseball Set to Launch at Munsu Stadium

Ulsan, South Korea – The newly established Ulsan Wales professional baseball team is preparing for its inaugural season in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) Futures League, with its home games scheduled to be played at Ulsan Munsu Baseball Stadium. The team’s first game is slated for 6:30 PM on April 20th against the Lotte Giants.

Ulsan Wales in the Southern League

Ulsan Wales has been assigned to the Southern League, alongside the KT Wiz, NC Dinos, Lotte Giants, Samsung Lions, and KIA Tigers. Previously part of the Southern League, the Sangmu Phoenix has been moved to the Northern League, joining the Hanwha Eagles, LG Twins, SSG Landers, Doosan Bears, and Goyang Heroes. The 2026 regular season will consist of 121 games per team, totaling 726 games. Ulsan Wales will host a total of 61 games at Munsu Baseball Stadium, including 43 against Southern League opponents and 18 against Northern (Inter) League teams. Home games will generally start at 6:30 PM on weekdays, shifting to 6:00 PM from July 15th to August 24th during the summer league schedule. Weekend and public holiday games will start at 1:00 PM.

Rain Delay and Tie Game Rules

In the event of a rain delay during April or May, games will be rescheduled for the following day and limited to seven innings.
