UND Hockey Fans to Rally in Sioux Falls Before NCAA Tournament Matchup
GRAND FORKS, ND – North Dakota Fighting Hawks hockey fans will have a chance to gather and show their support before the team’s NCAA Tournament regional semifinal game against Merrimack on Thursday, March 26th. A pregame party is scheduled at The Den, located a block away from the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Central Time.
Game Details and Fan Activities
The Fighting Hawks will face the Merrimack Warriors at 7:30 PM CT on Thursday. The pregame event at The Den will feature a free-will buffet, with proceeds benefiting the University of North Dakota’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) program. Live music will follow the game at the same location.
Supporting UND’s NIL Program
Fans wishing to further support the UND NIL program can also donate through Buffalo Wild Wings in Sioux Falls. Simply inform their wait staff to “Put my tab toward UND,” and a portion of the bill will be contributed to the program.

Regional Tournament Information
North Dakota earned the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and holds a 27-9-1 record. They will compete in the Sioux Falls Regional alongside Providence and Quinnipiac. The winner of the North Dakota vs. Merrimack game will advance to play the winner of the Providence vs. Quinnipiac matchup on Saturday, March 28th. Source
