Universal Volcano Bay Nights Returns for Summer 2026 with Exclusive After-Hours Access
Universal Orlando Resort is bringing back Volcano Bay Nights, a limited-capacity after-hours event at its award-winning water park, offering guests a unique nighttime experience. The event will run on select dates from May 3 through August 21, 2026, promising shorter wait times, themed entertainment, and exclusive food and beverage options.
What to Expect at Volcano Bay Nights
Volcano Bay Nights allows guests to enter the park as early as 4 p.m., with the main festivities kicking off at 7 p.m. Attendees will enjoy reduced wait times for popular attractions like Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and TeAwa the Fearless River.
A Beach Bash at Waturi Beach will feature a live DJ and opportunities to meet and greet characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar. Complimentary treats, including Blue Raspberry Churro Bites and garlic parmesan-flavored popcorn, will be available, with specialty food and beverages available for purchase.

- May: 3, 10, 17, 22, and 31
- June: 5, 12, 18, and 25
- July: 10 and 17
- August: 7, 14, and 21
Tickets and Additional Perks
Tickets for Volcano Bay Nights are priced at $99 plus tax per person and include parking. Universal Orlando Passholders receive a 10% discount with a valid annual or seasonal pass and photo ID.
Each ticket includes a complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle souvenir cup with over 100 drink choices and Coca-Cola refills throughout the event. Private cabanas are available for rent on event nights, starting at $199.99 plus tax, and can be booked in person at concierge huts on a first-come, first-served basis. ThemeParkShark reports that cabanas are subject to availability.

As with other Florida theme parks, Volcano Bay is now cashless. Guests should plan accordingly.
