The job market is showing signs of slowing down.
U.S. employers added only 64,000 jobs in November, according to a report from the Labor Department released tuesday. The unemployment rate increased to 4.6% from 4.4% in September. This is the highest unemployment rate in over four years.
The jobs report was originally scheduled for release earlier this month, but the government’s ability to track the job market was hampered.
