The North Regional Indian Accounts and Auditing Table Tennis competition recently concluded at the Amitabh Bachchan Sports Complex (Meyohal) in Prayagraj. The competition, which commenced on Tuesday, saw intense matches across various categories, culminating in several teams and players securing their places in the later stages of the tournament. Justice Vipin Chandra Dixit of the Allahabad High Court inaugurated the event, with key figures like Organizing Committee Chairman Shailesh Aggarwal and Accountant General Dr. Surendra Kumar in attendance.
Women’s Doubles Results
In the quarter-finals of the women’s doubles event, several pairs advanced to the semi-finals. sania Sehgal and Vidushi Vats (Delhi Audit) defeated Vineeta Negi and Ruchi (Uttarakhand) with a score of 3-1. Anjali Rohilla and Gladwin Florence (Delhi Audit) secured a 3-0 victory against Ritika Choudhary and Tamanna (Uttarakhand). A strong performance from Suhana Narjinari and vandana Singh (AG Uttar Pradesh) led to a 3-0 win over Kalyani and Shikha (Haryana). Tamanna Saini and Gurvinder (Punjab) defeated Abha and Radha (Uttar Pradesh) 3-1, completing the semi-final lineup.
Team Competition Progress
The team competition also saw notable progress. In the quarter-finals, Uttarakhand defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-2, Haryana overcame Himachal Pradesh 3-2, and Punjab triumphed over Jammu and Kashmir 3-0. Delhi Audit received a bye and advanced directly to the semi-finals. Delhi Audit then defeated Uttarakhand 3-0 in the first semi-final, while Haryana secured a 2-1 victory against Punjab in the second semi-final.

The women’s singles matches showcased notable skill and competition. Suhana Narjinari of AG Uttar pradesh defeated Gurvinder Kaur of punjab 3-0.Other notable results include Ruchi Kalia (Uttarakhand) defeating Radha Tiwari (Uttar Pradesh) 3-1, vidushi Joshi (Himachal Pradesh) defeating Shikha (Haryana) 3-0, Sania Sehgal (Delhi Audit) defeating Vandana Singh (Uttar Pradesh) 3-1, gladwin Florence (Delhi audit) defeating Ritika Chaudhary (Uttarakhand) 3-0, Kalyani (Haryana) defeating Tamanna (Uttarakhand) 3-0, Vidushi Vats (Delhi Audit) defeating Vineeta Negi (Uttarakhand) 3-0, and Tamanna Saini (Punjab) defeating Abha Pandey (Uttar Pradesh) 3-0.
