Idaho Men’s Tennis Set for Boise Road Trip
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Men’s Tennis team will travel to Boise, idaho, for a weekend of matches against Boise State and Linfield.
The Vandals (2-5) will first face the Boise State Broncos (1-2) on Friday at 5 p.m. MT. Saturday will be a doubleheader for Idaho, beginning with a 9 a.m. MT match against linfield, followed by a second contest against Boise State at 5 p.m.MT.
Boise State has faced a challenging start to their season,with losses to Princeton and Georgia. They secured their lone win with a 4-1 victory over UT Arlington. Last season, the broncos were undefeated at home (10-0) and reached the NCAA tournament after falling short in the Mountain West Conference championship. In the NCAA Tournament, they lost to No. 11 California 4-1.
Linfield will open their season in Boise, beginning with a match against Boise State before facing Idaho. The Wildcats finished last season with a 4-15 overall record and a 4-10 record in the Northwest Conference.
