The Véo Cartoucherie cinema in Toulouse has launched its inaugural summer program, featuring a series of thematic screenings and youth-focused events running through August.

The cinema’s summer initiative, branded as “CIN’ÉTÉ,” focuses on thematic movie nights held every Thursday throughout July and August. These screenings are priced at 6.50 euros per ticket. According to the official Véo Cinémas program, non-French films included in this series are presented in their original language with French subtitles.

The July lineup featured titles such as La Piscine, Ponyo on the Cliff, Le Grand Bain, and Jaws. The August schedule continues with the following selections:

• August 13: Madagascar (animated)
• August 20: Le Sens de la fête
• August 27: Jurassic Park

For the youth-oriented screenings within the CIN’ÉTÉ program, the cinema has scheduled two animated features per month at 6:30 p.m., earlier than the standard 9:00 p.m. start time for evening features.

Events for Children and Families

Beyond the evening thematic series, Véo Cartoucherie has expanded its daytime offerings for younger audiences. The cinema hosts screenings of short films specifically curated for children aged three and older. These sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting at 10:00 a.m., with tickets priced at 5 euros.

The venue also hosts “Ciné-Goûters” twice a month on Wednesdays. These events are designed for toddlers and include a themed snack following the film screening, inspired by the content of the movie shown. Additionally, the theater maintains a commitment to current releases and special events, such as the preview screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which was scheduled for August 2.
